Tragic news: University of Education, Winneba (UEW) level 100 student reportedly committed suicide after catching his girlfriend in bed with another guy.
The student reportedly committed suicide by hanging on Wednesday, April 16.
According to an eyewitness report, the young man allegedly collapsed after catching his girlfriend in bed with another guy inside the hostel "Ghana Universities Staff Superannuation Scheme (GUSSS) Hall Two".
And after some colleagues helped to restore his consciousness, he decided to resort to ending it all by hanging himself.
The emotional distress caused by the incident is believed to have contributed to his decision to take his own life.
At present, his body is in the custody of the Winneba police for further investigation.
The young lady involved in the incident has been arrested and is currently being interrogated to assist in the ongoing investigation.
