In the 2025 African Schools Football Championship (ASFC) girls’ edition Ghana’s U-15 girls’ team crowned a brilliant campaign by defeating Uganda 2-1 to win the season

Shortly after an exciting 3-2 victory over the reigning champions, South Africa, the Black Damsels advanced to the final and then defeated Uganda to win the continental championship.

In accordance with Coach Joyce Boatey-Agyei, the team prevailed and secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory at the University of Ghana Stadium despite the downpour of rain that threatened to ruin the match.

Following the championships, the team will receive a cash prize of $300,000, with $200,000 awarded to the runners-up and $150,000 to the third-placed team in both the boys’ and girls’ competitions.
