GES declared Easter break for form 2 students in transitional track schools (Check Out…)

The Management of Ghana Education Service (GES) has directed heads of all transactional track schools to break for form two students on Thursday, April 17, 2025, for the Easter holiday.

In a letter released and signed by Prince C. Agtemang-Duah (MR.), on Friday, April 11, 2025, the break will begin on Thursday, April 17, 2025, and end on Monday, April 21, 2025.

“Students who wish to travel home and celebrate the Easter festivities with their families should be given the opportunity to do so,” the statement read.

GES, however, stated that the break is optional, and students who prefer to stay on campus during the period will be allowed to remain under proper supervision.

“All students who will travel home are expected to return to school on Tuesday, 22nd April 2025, to resume academic activities promptly,” it added.

All regional directors have therefore been directed to disseminate the information to heads of all the schools in the specified category for the necessary action.
