TGMA Announces Full List of Nominees for 26th Edition
The 26th edition of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) have officially unveiled the final list of nominees on Saturday, March 15, 2025.
The announcement follows after the closure of the nomination filing process. The grand awards night is slated for May 3, 2025, at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).
However, ahead of the 26th edition, a pre-party will take place on May 2; nominees, industry stakeholders, and music enthusiasts are expected to attend the event for networking, discussions, and celebrations.
Once again, Stonebwoy, King Promise, and Black Sherif earned a spot in the Artiste of the Year category. Kweku Smoke, King Paluta, Team Eternity, and Joe Mettle also earned spots in the coveted category.
Okyeame Kwame, Sarkodie, Flowking Stone, Eno Barony, Kweku Smoke, and Lyrical Joe also battle it out for the Best Rap Performance.
Joe Mettle, Piesie Esther, Diana Hamilton, Empress Gifty, Team Eternity Ghana and MOG Music face off for the Best Gospel Artiste of the Year.
Telecel’s Most Popular Song of the Year category has also been occupied with fierce competition from Olive The Boy’s ‘Asylum’, Paris from King Promise, Lomo Lomo from KiDi ft Black Sherif, Very Soon by Fameye, Stonebwoy’s Jejereje, King Paluta’s Aseda, Puul from Lasmid, Defe Defe by Team Eternity Ghana and Black Sherif’s January 9.
