A renowned media personality Abena Moet has boldly declared that no man she has ever dated has been able to tell her that he is in love with another woman.
According to her, even the wealthy men she has been with have never had the courage to make such a statement in her presence.
Speaking on the Toast Show on GHOne, Abena Moet expressed her strong opinions on the behavior of men in relationships.
She however, described men as self-centered, saying they often deceive their partners instead of being honest. She emphasized that she has never been in a situation where a man looked her in the eye and boldly admitted his feelings for another woman.
"Men are self-centered! No man can ever look me in the eye and say he genuinely loves another woman. I wonder sometimes! How dare you? Even the wealthy people I dated never did such a thing," she stated.
She further explained that in her experience, men prefer to lie rather than openly confess their love for another woman. However, she believes that when a man no longer even bothers to lie, it shows a deep level of disrespect for his partner.
"I have never had a man in my life look me in the eye and declare, 'I am with this girl!' How are you even able to lie? Most of the time, they will lie! However, this one has such little regard for you that he no longer even wants to deceive," she added.
Abena Moet also pointed out how such actions can make a woman feel deeply betrayed in a relationship. She stressed that a woman who has invested time and effort into a relationship would feel hurt if her partner suddenly confesses love for another woman.
"You didn't consider anything we've been through over the years? You didn't think about how I've supported you? I caught you with someone you had never met before, and now you want to tell me that you're in love with her? 'I'm in love with that girl!' is something that no male I've ever dated can say with a straight face. You must be furious," she said.
Her statements have sparked discussions among social media users, with some agreeing with her while others believe that honesty in relationships should be encouraged, even if it is painful.
