The Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund) has extended the application deadline for Postgraduates and Undergraduates local scholarships for the 2024/2025 academic year From February 14, 2025 to February 28, 2025.
This extension provides prospective applicants additional time to submit their applications.
The initial date was February 14, 2025.
Application Process:
1. Access the Portal: Visit the GETFund Scholarship Application Portal at https://scholarships.getfund.gov.gh/.
2. Sign Up: If you don't have an account, sign up by providing the required details.
3. Log In: Use your credentials to log in to the portal.
4. Complete the Application Form: Fill out the application form with accurate information.
5. Upload Required Documents: Ensure all necessary documents are scanned and uploaded in the specified format.
6. Submit Application: Review your application for accuracy and submit it before the February 28, 2025 deadline.
Required Documents:
- Application Letter: A signed letter addressed to the GETFund Administrator.
- Proof of Nationality: A scanned copy of your national ID card or passport.
- Admission Letter: A letter from the educational institution indicating the program's duration.
- Fee Schedule: An approved fee schedule for the 2024/2025 academic year.
- Academic Certificates: Scanned copies of relevant academic certificates (e.g., WASSCE, CTVET).
- Transcripts: For continuing students, include the most recent academic transcript.
- National Service Certificate: Applicable to postgraduate applicants.
- Curriculum Vitae: Required for postgraduate applicants.
