The University of Professional Studies (UPSA) has sent a special good news notice to all WASSCE applicants with withheld results who applied for admission into first-degree programmes.
According to the notice, the admission office indicated that WAEC has released withheld results of 2024 WASSCE candidates. It directed students who had their results frozen by WAEC to check their results and also send the updated results they downloaded from WAEC’s portal to the university through WhatsApp line 0303-937542 or email: admissions@upsamail.edu.gh.
Students with withheld results who applied for admission but failed to act as directed will not be offered admission, as their applications will be deemed to be incomplete.
While the university did not indicate what title the email should be given, students are advised to use “UPDATED WASSCE WIHHELD RESULTS (STUDENT NAME) as the title. Better still, use the WHATSAPP option to make it easy for you.
According to recent reports, approximately 4,100 student results were withheld in the 2024 WASSCE due to suspected examination malpractices, indicating a significant number of students with withheld results across schools.
Reason for Withheld Results:
These results are usually withheld when investigations are ongoing regarding potential exam malpractices.
