GNFS blows alarm over fake appointment letters, prospectuses to applicants (Check Out...)

GNFS Public Relations Officer ADO 1, Alex King Nartey

The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) has raised an alarm over the circulation of fake appointment letters, prospectuses, and fraudulent text messages targeting applicants on social media.

According to the GNFS, these fraudulent materials are not issued by the service but are the handiwork of fraudsters attempting to deceive unsuspecting individuals.

However, “All applicants are strongly advised to remain vigilant and report any such fraudulent information or activities immediately to the GNFS or the police for swift legal action,” the service stated.

To help applicants identify these scams, the GNFS has shared samples of the fake letters and messages for reference.

The public is urged to stay alert and exercise caution to avoid falling victim to these fraudulent schemes.
