The top 16 contestants of Miss Upper East Ghana for the 7th edition, 2024.

Miss Upper East Ghana is an annual regional beauty pageant that showcases the vibrant culture and talent of young women in the Upper East Region of Ghana. Sponsored by Happy Man Bitters, a popular alcoholic beverage brand, the pageant aims to empower women while promoting the unique heritage of the region.

It's another year edition for Miss Upper East Ghana, 2024.

7th edition of the Happy Man Bitters Miss Upper East Ghana pageant.

On September 14, 2024, the top 16 contestants were unveiled, selected from a competitive pool of 28 participants through both virtual and in-person auditions. These young women, representing various districts in the Upper East Region, will showcase their unique talents and cultural heritage in the competition.

This year's contestants include a diverse range of participants with interests in modeling, cooking, singing, and more. 

Check out the Contestants:

1. Asoze (Abugre Mahmudu Sakinatu) – Representing Bawku Municipal, Asoze is passionate about modeling and dancing.

2. Asumbowine (Adakabila Asumbowine Agnes) – From Kologu in the Kassena Nankana Municipal, she enjoys cooking, singing, and modeling.

3. Asabila (Asabila Abigail) – Proudly representing Zuarungu, Bolgatanga District, Asabila loves poetry recitals and singing.

4. Afelie (Abunlog Selina Afelie) – Hailing from Wiaga, Builsa District, her interests include reading, movies, and cooking.

5. Akempu-usa (Atorigo Augustina Akempu-usa) – From Kandiga, Kassena Nankana West, she enjoys reading and listening to music.

6. Munira (Halidu Munira) – Representing Sabon Gari, Bawku Municipal, Munira is passionate about cooking, writing, and modeling.

7. Aposiyine (Amoah Aposiyine Winifred) – A representative of Koka, Bolgatanga East District, she enjoys dancing, modeling, and reading.

8. Toateba (Toateba Deborah) – From Baare, Talensi District, Toateba loves singing and reading.

9. Ayinpoka (Ayamga Rita Ayinpoka) – Hailing from Bolgatanga Municipal, she enjoys modeling, cooking, and listening to music.

10. Ayinsum (Ayinsum Deborah) – Representing Balungu, Talensi District, her hobbies include watching movies and playing video games.

11. Asingama (Esther Asinga) – From Bongo District, Asingama is interested in reading, cooking, and singing.

12. Amisonga (Freda Nsobila Amisonga) – Representing Winkongo, Talensi District, she is passionate about cooking, photography, and dancing.

13. Tirim (Tirim Gifty Awaab) – Hailing from Chuchuliga, Builsa North District, Tirim enjoys cooking, singing, reading, and modeling.

14. Nyanebu (Amana Salifu Zekiatu) – Representing Zopeliga, Pusiga District, she loves music, dance, volunteering, and traveling.

15. Winpiini (Saiba Zulfatu) – From Bawkzua, Bawku Municipal, she enjoys drawing and reading.

16. Maalie (Brenda Ajaab Awonimaalie) – Hailing from Wiaga, Builsa District, her hobbies include writing, painting, and cooking.

The 7th edition of the Happy Man Bitters Miss Upper East Ghana Pageant is officially underway, promising another year of glamour, talent, and cultural celebration.

The pageant aims to showcase the beauty, intelligence, and uniqueness of young women from the Upper East Region. With Happy Man Bitters as the title sponsor and others, the event has grown into a prestigious platform that empowers young women while promoting the region's rich cultural heritage.

This year’s pageant is supported by an array of prominent sponsors, including Kussa Shea Bliss, Luxie-Trendzgh, Masoyi Hospitality Services, Bel Aqua, Bel Beverages, and Bel Ice, ensuring a grand celebration of the region’s diversity.

This year's edition brings fresh excitement with 16 contestants competing in categories that highlight traditional fashion, talent, eloquence, and social responsibility. The winner will not only take home the coveted crown but will also serve as an ambassador for the Upper East Region, engaging in charity work and community development projects.

As the competition heats up, all eyes are on the talented contestants, eager to see who will follow in the footsteps of past queens and emerge as the next Miss Upper East Ghana.
