Jones, a teacher at Ullo Senior High School in Jirapa, was arrested on August 20, 2024, and was sent to the Jirapa Municipal Police Headquarters. Following the incident, Jones raised concerns.
According to the interview with the teacher who spoke about the trending national issue reported on August 19, 2024, he indicated that the pictures were posted on his school’s official platform for the concern to be addressed by management.
"I didn't post those pictures on social media or any other unofficial platforms; I took them and uploaded them on the school's official platform." He said the police were after someone who commented that the pictures must go viral.

The MCE was part of the people that arrested me; my headmaster was part of the other staff; they said it would proceed to court; I didn’t put the pictures outside the school platform per the GES Rules; I only shared them with management on the platform; the platform was created by the school; Currently, I’m a stranger here; I’m from the South; I have nobody to depend on; I’m not the one behind the pictures that went viral; the whole day, I haven’t eaten or drunk water as of 3 p.m.
The Jirapa Municipal Police is still investigating the matter.
