A 30-year-old young man has been arrested for allegedly stealing from members of the Captain Jesus prayer camp in Nkawkaw in the Kwawu West Municipality of the Eastern Region.
The suspect, identified as Daniel, was arrested for stealing clothes, gas cylinders, mobile phones, and plantains from members, despite the fact that he had come to the camp seeking spiritual healing.
The security guard at the prayer camp, Samuel Doku, said in an interview on Adom News that the suspect was caught in the act.
He said they handed him to police personnel at the Nkawkaw Police Command to assist with investigations.
Doku further advised prayer camp leaders to exercise caution and vigilance against individuals who seek sanctuary within their camps.
