FROM HIS PRESS STATEMENT
To all my esteemed supporters and the entire student body, I am writing to address you today to express a mix of disappointment and gratitude.
As you may be aware, my candidacy for the position of president of the SRC has been disqualified due to the failure of my running mate to meet the required CGPA.
First and foremost, I want to express my deepest gratitude to each and every one of you who supported me in this journey. Your encouragement, trust, and belief in me were the driving forces behind my decision to take on this challenge, and for that, I am eternally grateful.
According to Abugri Mumuni Abusang, I must admit that I am deeply disappointed by the actions of my running mate, which ultimately led to our disqualification. I had received his academic records before we filed the nomination; however, the document presented to me did not accurately reflect the verified results of the vetting committee. I want to make it clear that I completely disassociate myself from his actions, as I strongly believe in adhering to established rules and regulations. All the documents I presented were an accurate representation of me and nothing less.
Unfortunately, this single action by my running mate resulted in the disqualification that I faced during the recent vetting process.
Although our campaign has been cut short, I urge you all to continue advocating for the positive change we believe in. Let us not be disheartened by this setback, but instead, let's view it as an opportunity to regroup and come back even stronger.
Once again, I want to thank you for your unwavering support. I am looking forward to the continued opportunities offered by this esteemed student body.
Sincerely
Signed;
ABUGRI MUMUMI ABUSANG
