Deputy CEO of YEA exchanging the MoU with GES officials

The Youth Employment Agency (YEA) announced the opening of applications for those interested in the School Support Programme (SSP) on July 29, 2024.

In alliance with the Ghana Education Service (GES), this initiative aims to strengthen the nation’s educational infrastructure and provide essential support to schools across Ghana.

Targeting young individuals aged 18–35, the SSP offers various roles to help enhance the educational experience for students.

Opportunities Available:

1. Community Education Teaching Assistants (CETA): Applicants with a minimum of a diploma education are encouraged to apply. CETAs will support teachers in the classroom, contributing to an improved learning environment for students.

2. School Guards and Kitchen Assistants: Individuals with at least a Senior High School (SHS) Education can apply for these positions. These roles are crucial for maintaining a safe and nurturing environment within the schools.

In total, the programme seeks to employ 10,000 enthusiastic and dedicated youth, providing them with valuable skills, work experience, and the potential for future career opportunities.

"This is not just a job; it’s an opportunity to develop skills, build your resume, and open doors to future career prospects," stated a YEA spokesperson.

The YEA urges potential applicants to seize this opportunity and encourages the public to share this announcement widely to reach as many eligible candidates as possible.

NOTE: Application Deadline: August 5, 2024

Interested individuals can apply now at YEA Application Portal. apply.yea.gov.gh
