NSS to Introduce International Placement for Personnel
Ghana’s National Service Scheme has mushroomed to allow young Ghanaians to work abroad, gaining global experience and building connections that could benefit the country.
The new National Service Bill enables the export of national service personnel to countries outside of Ghana, a move that could have far-reaching implications for the nation’s youth and the global community.
The program was established in 1973 with the intention of providing young Ghanaians opportunities to contribute to national and gain valuable work experiences for their country.
There will now be opportunities for international placement in sectors like , healthcare, educationand technology.
