Campaign Director of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Professor Joshua Alabi, has said the electorate will not be deceived by the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) misleading tactics.
He said Ghanaians will see through the NPP’s attempts to manipulate NDC votes in the 2024 general elections.
At the NDC’s 2024 campaign launch in Tamale on Saturday, July 27, Prof. Alabi declared, “The people are wide awake and have seen the truth.”
Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, a member of the NDC’s manifesto committee, laid out an ambitious plan for the party’s performance in the Northern Region, aiming to secure 14 out of 18 seats.
While acknowledging the Volta region as the NDC’s traditional stronghold, Ankrah emphasized that the northern region fuels the party’s momentum.
He criticized the Akufo-Addo government for economic mismanagement, claiming “every single sector of the economy is in disarray.”
Ankrah believes that these failures will drive Ghanaians to vote for the NDC, as they recognize the government’s shortcomings.
