GES announces reporting date for SHS first-year students for the 2024/2025 academic year
The Ghana Education Service has announced that the first year of senior high school students for the 2024/2025 academic year will resume on Friday, September 27, 2024.
This information goes to the junior high school graduates who completed the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) last Monday.
According to the statement dated Monday, July 15, 2024, addressed to all regional directors of education and signed by Prince C. Agyemang-Duah, the acting director for the Schools and Instructions Division, on behalf of the Director General of the GES, parents and school heads were advised to take note and prepare accordingly.
GES, however, stated that the vacation date for the students will be on Friday, December 6, 2024.
Kindly note that all other activities and programs scheduled for the semester remain unchanged.
