Foundation Scholarship Program Workshop.
We are asked to inform colleague heads to inform their students to apply for the scheme before the deadline.
Eligibility Criteria
1. The applicant must not be more than 25 years old.
2. The applicant must meet the KNUST admission requirement.
3. The applicant should have applied for admission at KNUST.
4. The applicant must demonstrate that he or she has a critical need.
5. The applicant must have a proven record of leadership and community engagement.
6. The applicant must not be enrolled in any tertiary education.
7. Applicant must have results in hand, results should not be more than 5 years.
8. The applicant must go through an interview.
Round one (economic disadvantage)
Round two (leadership potential)
round three (knowledge of the scholarship program).
9. Compilation of interview results for background visits.
10. Background verification exercise.
11. Review of findings from background visits of applicants.
12. Final selection.
13. Confirmation of admission for selected candidates.
14. Award of scholarships.
15. Scholar enrollment: signing of the scholar agreement form.

Kindly note that the deadline for the call for applications for the Mastercard Foundation Scholarship Programme is fast approaching (deadline: May 31, 2024).
There would be no extension of the deadline. That is, the completed application form should be sent via courier mail (EMS, DHL) on or before the deadline.
The applicant would need to make two different applications.

Some useful tips for applicants.
• Carefully read the instructions on the scholarship application before completing the form.
Three different recommendation letters are required.
• Visit the KNUST website and check the admission requirements before choosing your programme of study.
• Keep your email and phone numbers active throughout the application cycle.
Priority is given to females, persons with disabilities, and displaced persons.
Please encourage your old students who are qualified to apply before applications are closed.
