The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has released a new date for the 2024 West African Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).

According to the latest report, the 2024 WASSCE will begin on Monday, August 5, 2024. The exams are expected to end on September 27, 2024.
What about the 2024 BECE?
According to WAEC, the 2024 BECE date remains unchanged. The exams will begin on Monday, July 8, 2024. The exams will end on Friday, July 12, 2024.
The dates for WASSCE and BECE registration are still pending from WAEC. On the other hand, considering the events of 2023, it is likely that the portal for eligible candidates will open in April 2024, with a June 2024 deadline for registration.
