Prominent Nigerian Afrobeats sensation David Adeleke, officially known in showbiz as Davido, has sparked a wave of speculation about his career choice after expressing doubts in a recent social media post.
The "Assurance" hitmaker wondered whether pursuing a music career was the appropriate choice in light of football players' lavish lifestyles on his official Twitter account.
"Football players have enjoyable too. Act like though I made a bad career decision. "Bruhhhhhhh," Davido bemoaned in the widely shared tweet, expressing his love for the lavish lifestyles enjoyed by widely recognized football players.
The post was posted shortly after Davido allegedly started to consider his own expert choice after learning about the immense wealth gained by football legends like Kylian Mbappe, Lionel Messi, and Cristiano Ronaldo.
According to Nigeria's Daily Post, Atletico Madrid forward Memphis Depay recently offered Davido a multi-million naira Rolex wristwatch, which is testament to the glamour of sport.
