Warmest greetings from the local NUGS secretariat. It is important to note that the Student Loan Trust fund is indeed free.
According to the local NUGS, it has come to their attention that some people are posing as agents of the fund.
However, the National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS) and the University of Education Winneba (UEW) chapter want to caution all students to be vigilant and avoid people posing as agents of the Student Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) who may try to demand some incentive (money) from them during the application process.
Your education is valuable; make sure to protect yourself and only trust official sources when applying for financial assistance.
