Ghana Education Service (GES): Released Dates for the BECE and WASSCE for School Candidates, 2024.
Management of Ghana Education Service (GES) wishes to inform all the Heads of Basic and Senior High Schools that the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) and West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), 2024, for candidates (SC) will be written as follows:
1. July 8 to 12, 2024, for BECE (SC)
2. July 1 to August 31, 2024, for WASSCE (SC)
The WASSCE will communicate the period for registration of the candidates for the examinations to the heads of schools in due course.
By this later date, Regional Directors of Education are requested to communicate this information to Metro/Municipal/District Directors of Education to inform all heads of basic and senior high schools to take note and prepare the candidates for the examination accordingly.
