The University of Cape Coast (UCC) has refused to assert that it has a campus or affiliated outlet in Nigeria.
The university’s management issued a statement on January 4, 2024, clarifying that it has not authorized any institution to operate its programs in Nigeria or granted any franchises.
The assertion comes in response to previous statements that purportedly said that the university's operations are prohibited in Nigeria.
However, the statement clarifies that international students—including Nigerians—who are interested in enrolling at University of Cape Coast (UCC) should submit an application directly to the university in order to be given due consideration.
UCC highlights the significance of integrity and urges the public to disregard the fabrications.
The university also suggests that people and organizations verify with the university directly to ascertain the authenticity of any certificates that are purportedly issued by University of Cape Coast (UCC).
