The management of the University of Cape Coast (UCC) has announced the reopening arrangements for freshmen and continuing students for the 2023/2024 academic year.
1. REGISTRATION OF COURSES
For continuing students, online course registration will commence on Monday, November 13, 2023, and run through Friday, December 22, 2023.
Online registration of courses for fresh students admitted at Levels 200 and above will commence from Monday, November 27, 2023, to Friday, January 12, 2024.
Online registration of courses for fresher's (Level 100) will commence from Wednesday, January 10, to Sunday, January 13, 2024.
Registration will not be permitted after the above deadlines.
Departmental Registration and Examination Officers (DREOs) are expected to mount all courses before the dates for the commencement of registration.
The University of Cape Coast (UCC) has scheduled reopening arrangements for the 2023/2024 academic year.
2. ARRIVAL OF STUDENTS
Continuing as well as fresh students admitted at Level 200 and above are expected to report on Saturday, November 25, 2023.
Fresh students (Level 100) are expected to report on Saturday, January 6, 2024.
3. ON-CAMPUS REGISTRATION OF COURSES
Students who have difficulties with registration may contact the Student Records Section during the registration period for assistance.
4. LECTURES/PAYMENT OF FEES
Continuing Students
Lectures for students of Level 200 and above will begin on Monday, December 4, 2023. For this purpose, continuing students include fresh undergraduate students other than those admitted at Level 100.
Level 100 students
Lectures for Level 100 courses will begin on Monday, January 15, 2024.
All continuing students who owe fees will be required to settle the fees in full, including arrears, before registration.
Continuing students should check their portals for the 2023/2024 fee status.
5. ORIENTATION/MATRICULATION
Orientation for freshmen students will take place on Monday, January 8, and Tuesday, January 9, 2024.
Matriculation will take place on Saturday, January 27, 2024.
NOTE: All 2023 WASSCE candidates who bought awaiting forms from UCC will be going to school in January 2024. UCC will take your results directly from WAEC and process them to see if you qualify for the programmes chosen.
