The management of CoDE-UCC would like to remind all prospective applicants that the College of Distance Education sale of the following application forms is still in progress for the 2023/2024 academic year.
The College of Distance Education (CoDE) was founded with the intention of training professional teachers for all Ghana Education Service levels of education and giving people the chance to pursue higher education.
Additionally, it aimed to improve the professional proficiency of Ghana Education Service personnel and teachers as well as accounting and management staff in the public sector, business, and industry.
More importantly, CoDE sought to create a College of Distance Education for candidates who, although eligible for admission, were unable to enroll in conventional universities because of physical facility issues.
Departments and Units
There are currently four academic departments in CoDE, including arts and social sciences, mathematics and science, business studies, and education studies. CoDE currently runs programs in education, business, science and math education, and the arts and social sciences, leading to the award of diplomas, post-diplomas, and master’s degrees.
Again, there are other functional offices and units that support the operations of the college.
POTENTIAL APPLICANTS
Holders of a Bachelor of Education in Educational Psychology, Educational Foundations, Educational Psychology and Foundations, Basic Education, and other relevant degrees in education
TARGET GROUP
The programs are designed for those who are interested in teaching at senior high schools. Those who are interested in vertical career progression in their disciplines
