Several homes in Accra have been destroyed as a result of a fire that destroyed structures behind the Arts Centre.
Among the belongings lost in the fire were mattresses, personal documents, and cutlery.
The event started at about 8:30 a.m. and was purportedly caused by subpar electrical wiring in a building.
Some of the impacted victims told Citi News that they lost everything to the fire since they didn't receive support to put it out.
Another victim reported, "My entire collection has vanished." Everything is lost, including my daughter's school bag and my money.
In the meantime, Ghana Fire Service representatives raced to the scene to calm things down and identify the incident's source.
