The management of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST)
It has come to the attention of the university that messages purported to indicate an offer of admission have been delivered to applicants for the 2023/2024 admission via SMS.
The message has been used to demand payment of non-refundable fees of GHC 2,550.00 through a malicious link.
However, the university wishes to state emphatically that it has not started processing the applications from holders of the West Africa Senior High School Certificate Examinations (WASSCE). The process of submitting applications for holders of WASSCE commences after the release of the 2023 WASSCE results by the West Africa Examination Council (WAEC).
For that matter, the public is advised to take note and not fall prey to such fraudulent activity or fraudsters.
