This is to inform all first-year master's, first-year undergraduate, and second-year diploma students that the university will reopen for the 2023–2024 academic year's first semester as follows:
A. Registration
Course registration for the academic year 2023–2024's first semester has begun in earnest, and it will be expected to end on September 30, 2023, on a Saturday.
To complete their course registration, students must complete the stages listed below:
Step 1: Access Interpay and log in to deliver the relevant fees paid at any Access Bank branch.
Step 2: Proceed with the online course registration. By logging into https://upsasip.com/student-portal, you can access the online course registration site. Upon successful completion of the online registration, print on two (2) copies of the proof of registration slip.
Step 3: Online Resit Registration (optional)
After the course registration, pay and disburse for your resit registration if you have any first semester papers you wish to resit. Return to your USIS student’s portal to do your resit registration and generate a new proof of registration. Please skip this step if you do not have any papers to resit. Students who have completed their studies but have papers to retake should, however, visit Room 7, Mustapha Wing, to do so.
Step 4: Kindly submit the proof of registration slips to your department officer for endorsement, after which one (1) copy of the slip will be given back to you.
B. Teaching
Teaching activities for the first semester of the 2023/2024 academic year will start on Monday, October 2, 2023.
The detailed academic calendar for the first semester of the 2023/2024 academic year could be found on the university’s website (www.upsa.edu.gh).
NOTE: All students are to adhere to the dates specified for the various activities and comply accordingly.
