University of Education, Winneba SRC Holds Handover Ceremony To Usher In New SRC Executives
The Student Representative Council (SRC) parliament of the University of Education, Winneba, has organized a handover ceremony to usher in newly elected executives of the student governing council into office.
Held on Friday, September 15, 2023, at the Conference Room of the Student Centre on North Campus, the event, graced by the Dean of Students, David Xefu, saw the 2022/2023 SRC administration hand over the baton to the new SRC executives led by Bismark Opoku, the new SRC President.
Before the swearing-in, outgoing SRC President Ransford Samovie delivered his end-of-term address, highlighting the major achievements of his administration.
The Chief Justice of the SRC Parliament, James Wonder Doe, led the newly elected executives to take their oaths of office.
The new SRC President, Bismark Opoku, gave a speech and encouraged the students to support him on this journey.
