STORY

All started in Shagamu, Ogun State, where a Chinese man and a Nigerian lady fell in love. Their relationship blossomed, leading to an unexpected pregnancy. The mother gave birth to a baby with unique physical features, resembling the Chinese ethnicity of the father.

But as soon as the Chinese man made the decision to go back to his homeland, the happiness and harmony that had formerly characterized their relationship fell apart. The surprising turn in this story came when he suggested a deal that would alter their lives forever: he offered the mother to sell their baby to him in exchange for money.

The mother turned down the offer, strongly defending her maternal instincts, unwilling to give up her child for monetary gain. This choice, together with the Chinese man's decision to leave her and their infant behind when he went to China, sealed her fate.

A mother and her unusual-looking child were seen in a video posted on social media by @KoikiMedia, serving as a sharp reminder of a love story that soured in the face of moral quandaries. The video's heartbreaking title reads, "Somewhere along the Sagamu Abeokuta expressway, a Chinese expatriate impregnated this young lady.

The relationship was blissful up until the point when he had to leave for his own land. At that point, he insisted that she "sell" the baby to him or else he wouldn't be able to support himself. He has severed the mother-child bond since she refused to sell the baby.

Social media users expression their about this occurrence have sparked a range of responses from the general public. Some people have expressed shock at the Chinese man's behavior, while others have questioned the role of law enforcement in such situations.

This tragic tale serves as a devastating reminder of the intricacies of relationships, parenthood, and the moral choices people are required to make when confronted with trying situations. It also calls into question whether or not both parents, regardless of their relationship status, have a duty to ensure the welfare and upbringing of their child.
