Members of the Colleges of Education Teachers Association of Ghana (CETAG) are expected to resume work no later than Thursday, September 7, 2023.
This follows the association's decision to call off its strike on Monday, September 4.
CETAG has been on strike for more than a month in protest of poor working conditions.
However, the strike's suspension was approved by the majority of CETAG members.
"With effect from Tuesday, September 5, 2023, the strike is stopped or called off based on a majority decision based on the above vote results. The Employer/Ministry of Education must implement all arbitral awards by October 31, 2023, or CETAG will be notified and take appropriate action.
