5 year old girl, swept away by flash floods at Moshie Zongo
According to reports, a five-year-old child has died after being swept away by flash floods at Moshie Zongo in the Ashanti metropolis of Kumasi.
Residents of the neighborhood stated that the deceased, whose name has not yet been discovered, was carried away by floods on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, following a significant downpour.
After the intense downpour, the girl, a student of Ethiopia International School at Pankrono Estate, was found floating in a gutter.
The girl had already left school and was on her way home, based on Nana Adu, a neighbor who lives nearby.
We don't know what caused her to drown because all we saw was her lifeless body floating in the sewer while wearing a stained school uniform.
When we arrived to pick her up, medical staff at a nearby hospital informed us that she had passed away.
