I am honored to be here as a candidate contesting the position of Geosa President in our prestigious department, UEW. We have the potential to shape the future trajectory of our academic pursuits and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in our field of study as we go ahead.
However, leadership is not just about the name of the position you occupied but it is also about zeal, hard work, determination, a listening ear, and so on.
As a leader, you need to have some qualities to be able to lead your people as a whole, and these are some of the qualities below:
Effective communication, adaptability, decisiveness, empathy, integrity, and the ability to inspire and motivate others Leadership also involves problem-solving, strategic thinking, and a strong sense of responsibility.
I believe I, Emmanuel Akewini Awinbisira, and Kelvin Lawer Nartey have those qualities if we are voted into power as the president of the Almighty Geography Department, UEW.

EDUCATION
1.GEOSA in collaboration with Geography Department to provide opportunities for our personal and professional growth.By bringing industry professionals, organize guest lectures, and establish networking events to connect students with potential employers and mentors in the geography field.
2.Procurement of projectors, speakers, and cables to facilitate academic work
3.Re-activating GEOSA’S WRITERS AND DEBATERS club by organizing inter level debate, speech
and poetry to enhance their academic successes.
HEALTH
4.Instituting free breast and cervical cancer screening for all females in GEOSA as early detection means early treatment.
SPORTS
5.Organizing of regular aerobics and games for GEOSA students
6.Instituting grant fund to help sports and games athletes in GEOSA
WELFARE
7.Inclusivity and Diversity: Our department thrives when it embraces diversity and inclusivity. I will advocate for a welcoming and inclusive environment that celebrates our differences and fosters a sense of belonging for every student.
8.Creating an award scheme to honor students who have excelled brilliantly during their graduation as a way of motivating other students to pursue greater achievements
ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT
9.Launching of a policy known as ERES (Educate, Reduce, Eliminate and Sustain theenvironment) through collaboration with major stakeholders in the department including "Join me, Mayo and Gayo"
