Pastor Beats Fellow Pastor For Advising Him To Stop Having An Affair With A Church Member
Pastor from Zambia assaults a fellow pastor for advising him to stop having an affair with a church member.
Police arrested and detained Apostle Christopher Kunda, 45, of Plot 168 Chalala, the Church Leader for Presence of God Life Ministries International, at the Central Police Station in Lusaka yesterday at 16: 00 hours for Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm (OABH).
The incident happened on July 31, 2023, around 22:30 p.m., at Society Business Park, between Cairo Road and Cha-Cha Cha Road.
He is accused of assaulting Reverend Nelson Mhango, 62, of House Number 4199B Matero, a member of the Bumper Harvest Church.
The two had a falling out when the complainant accused the suspect of having a love affair with a female member of his church.
This was after the accused's wife had invited Reverend Nelson Mhango to advise the couple in Chilenje, and on their way back to Matero, they stopped to buy some food.
Reverend Mhango was assaulted at that moment when he proceeded to advise Apostle Kunda not to have a love affair with a female member of his church.
The suspect was legally arrested and charged with Assault OABH. He has been released on police bond and will appear in court soon.
