A group of outraged market women at Kasoa have called on the Ghana Police to issue the arrest of an MTTD officer.
According to the video has gone viral showing how a woman who was recording the footage video is heard accusing the MTTD officer of harassing a teenage mother.
However, in the video, the lady is heard saying that the officer allegedly poured away the food she was selling. The officer, who remained calm throughout the ordeal, is seen holding on to the teenage mother, who was carrying her baby.
Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD) in Ghana It is responsible for traffic management and enforcement in the country.
MTTD's main duties are to educate the public about accident precautions, train personnel to arrest drivers who violate traffic laws and regulations, and work with other stakeholders such as the National Road Safety Commission (NRSC) and the Driver Vehicle and Licensing Authority (DVLA).
