The National Service Secretariat (NSS) has officially notified that the outstanding NSS Allowance owed to the personnel has been paid.
An official declaration from the National Service Personnel Association executive council has made this information public.
"The Executive Board sincerely wishes you a warm welcome and would like to inform you that the allowance for June has been paid," the letter begins.
To load and withdraw your allowance, make sure to get an e-Zwich card and go to the nearest bank or agent.
The management of the Ghana National Service scheme previously declared in an official announcement that the monthly allowance for service members would increase from $559.07 to $715.57.
All current personnel of the national service will get arrears dating back to January 2023, or seven months.
In order this increments was made for the NSS allowance, there were several negotiations with the government.
