The total number of deaths from floods in the North East Region has risen to five, after one more victim was discovered washed ashore in the Nalerigu dam.
The body of the unidentified man was recovered and buried under the supervision of the National Disaster Management Organization and the Police.
However, regional authorities are still working to reach towns that have been blocked off by flooding since last week.
Yidana Zakaria, the regional minister in charge of the relief efforts, expressed shock at the level of devastation wreaked by the floods.
