The management of the National Service Scheme (NSS) has released PIN Codes for a total of 142,381 final-year students from 125 accredited tertiary institutions in the country.
Students who successfully registered for their mandatory national service for the 2023/2024 service year received PIN Codes.
According to the press release on August 1, 2023, the NSS stated that individual defaulters who applied to be enrolled in this year’s national service were not included as their PIN Codes had yet to be released.
The NSS Secretariat added "Their PIN Codes would also be released soon."
However, the statement explained that all eligible final-year Ghanaian students are to visit the scheme’s website at www.nss.gov.gh to access their PIN Codes with their respective school Index Numbers and dates of Birth.
The enrolling process can be started by making a payment of GH40.00 at any ADB Bank Ltd. branch or GH41.00 via the MTN MoMo platform.
The registration deadline is Saturday, August 19, 2023.
NSS has urged all accredited tertiary institutions to submit their supplementary final year lists as soon as possible so that the Scheme can enroll the students for the 2023/2024 national service.
