According to the speaking on the occasion,Mr. Dari Dramani appealed to the Chiefs and stakeholders to put structures in place to make sure that students from Savannah see the need to be educated and, for that matter, learn our prestigious Gonja language. He said this with respect to the number of admitted students being reduced massively every year and that the current level 100s can only boast of three (3) students.
However, Mr. Dramani pledged to go round Gonjaland to meet opinion leaders to solicit support that will aid students who complete senior High school to further their studies in the Gonja field.
With the Mr. Olu Jakpa, NAGS-GH representative at the occasion, put it to Mr. Dramani ( patron of NAGS-UEW Ajumaku branch) that they would do everything possible in their capacity as student leaders to support his campaign. He added that NAGS-GH would not relent until the Gonja unit is filled with students.
He however, pleaded on behalf of the entire executives of NAGS-GH to all stakeholders of the KEJAKPA-NANA family to come to the aid of the Gonja unit; otherwise, our culture and our reach history will die off, which will go a long way to affect the generation yet unborn. Let us all come together to be the agents of change in our communities. Asan kushun is our famous way of saying thank you.
