SHS Teacher Gunned down; three others Injured At Bawku In The Upper East Region

An anonymous gunman killed one person in Bawku, Upper East Region.
Paul Agyeman Konadu, the dead, was a technical teacher at Zamse Senior High/Technical School in the Bolgatanga Municipality.
The incident occurred on August 12, 2023.
A colleague of the deceased stated that, in alongside his teaching, he worked as a taxi driver on weekends, driving the Bolga-Bawku route.
Around 4 p.m. on the day of the incident, an unidentified assailant opened fire on him, other passengers, and bystanders.
This resulted in Konadu's death, as well as the injury of three other people.
It is unknown what the assailant's goals were.
Security forces in the region have yet to remark on the occurrence.
