"Wee" Seller was allegedly beaten to death.
Kwadwo Afful, a 30-year-old alleged marijuana seller at Sefwi Ahibenso in the Sefwi Bodi District of the Western North Region, has allegedly been beaten to death.
This happened when he purportedly failed to render an account of the Indian hemp, which is known as "wee,” he sold for his boss.
Afful was allegedly subjected to severe beatings until he died by a gang whose members are at large.
According to some of the residents, what they gathered was that the deceased failed to return the proceeds he had from the Indian hemp he was given to sell.
His lifeless body was left on the streets of Sefwi Ahibenso near Sefwi Bodi on Thursday morning.
Speaking to journalists, the grandfather of the deceased, Daniel Kwasi Tawiah, explained that he saw a crowd on the street and curiously went there to find out what was happening.
He was told some ghetto guys had beaten his grandchild to death for not rendering account on the Indian hemp he was given to sell by the ghetto guys.
The grandfather immediately informed the police at Sefwi Bodi, and the body was later deposited at the Sefwi Juaboso government hospital morgue for further investigation.
