KNUST level 300 Business Administration student and the current SRC Financial Secretary, Mr. Abubakar Tamiebu Manaf, resigned from office as the financial secretary to contest for KNUST 2023/2024 SRC Presidency
The incumbent SRC Financial Secretary for the KNUST Obuasi Campus, Mr. Abubakar Tamiebu Manaf, a level 300 business administration student, resigned from his position in order to run for the KNUST 2023/2024 SRC Presidency.
On Friday, May 19, 2023, SRC received a letter of resignation from its financial secretary, Mr. Abubakar Tamiebu Manaf, as a constitutional compliance for every staff member of SRC who wishes to contest any position while in office.
We recognized and appreciated the valuable contribution he made towards the building of a stronger student front and the smooth running of his administration.
The Students Representative Council (SRC) wishes him all the best in his aspirations and endeavors.
In the interim, the responsibilities of the financial secretary will be distributed among other members of the executive team. We are working diligently to ensure that our financial system and processes continue to operate seamlessly and that there is minimal disruption to the service and programs provided by the council.
