A fire outbreak destroyed shops at Kwame Nkrumah Circle.
Chain stores that were located behind the VVIP station at Kwame Nkrumah Circle in the Greater Accra Region's Klottey Korle constituency have been destroyed by fire.
According to eyewitnesses, the fire started at about 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 21.
The cause of the fire has yet to be known
However, two fire tenders have reported to the scene to salvage the situation. But the fire personnel were welcomed with boos for taking hours to arrive after being notified of the blaze.
Some bystanders are taking advantage of this to loot shops.
