Today, Singer Simi, a mother of one who is married to Adekunle Gold, clocks 35 years old and floors her verified Instagram page with new photos.
The "Duduke” crooner pens a sweet note to herself on her 35th birthday, and by extension, gives thanks to God for the gift of life and the love shown towards her so far.
She wrote, “35 and fine." Happy birthday to the realest person I know! I type this tipsy as hell and surrounded by my most loved. "If God doesn’t love me most, I don’t know who.”
However, a video that shows the moment Simi was seen in a bikini outfit with her drinks together with friends while celebrating her 35th birthday beside a pool has surfaced online and has got many people talking.
In the clip, the singer seems to be so overexcited on her birthday that he was screaming on top of her voice and moving around randomly to the extent that she was being guided by another man until she fell into the pool.
As expected, the video generated several reactions. While many accused Simi of exposing too much skin despite being a married woman, others questioned if the singer was under the influence of alcohol, and some shared their contrary opinions.
