The Legendary story of Obiba J. K. (Red Lions and Green Hawks)

Do you recall the Obiba J.K. Red Lions and Green Hawks Legendary Story? Allow us to send you back in time with this vintage masterpiece.

Tana Red Lions sent Duaso Green Hawks a note one day. They desired to have a football match with them.

J.K. Sasraku served as the Red Lions' captain. His supporters called him as Obiba J.K. He was a skilled athlete.

The Green Hawks' leader was a capable athlete as well. He was known among his pals as "the football doctor."

The Red Lions and their supporters went to Duase at 3:00 p.m. The Green Hawks were already on the football field.

There were many people on the field. The chief of Duase and his elders were there. The teachers and their pupils were also there to witness the encounter.

Soon, the referee of the day came to the field with the two linesmen (assistant referees). The center referee blew his whistle, and the captains of both teams ran to the center of the field.

The referee tossed a coin. The captain of the Green Hawks won the toss.

The linesmen went to their ends of the field, where they would be assisting the referee throughout the match. After that, the captains called their players. The Green Hawks wore green jerseys and white shorts.  The Red Lions wore a red jersey and white shorts.

The players stood at their positions for the start of the match between the two teams.

Soon the match began.

Many people cheered “Obiba J.K.” and “Football Doctor."

They were good players. The score at the end of the first half was: Red Lions 2, Green Hawks 2.

In the second half, the Red Lions played a very good game. Obiba K.K played very well, but Football Doctor and his team were very strong.

They played and played and played, but there was no score. No team was able to score after the 2–2 draw of the first half.

The goalkeepers of both teams were very good.

Then Adamu of the Red Lions had the ball. He was near the Green Hawks’ goal area.  He quickly passed it to Ata, and Ata too quickly passed the ball to “Obiba J.K." Obiba J.K. kicked it hard into the net. It was a goooaaaaaaal.  The supporters of the Red Lions cheered and danced.

Soon, the referee blew his whistle. That was the end of the game. The score was Red Lions 3, Green Lions 2.

The Green Hawks lost the game to their opponents. The Tana players won it. They went back happily to their village.
In recent times, some have argued that OBIBA JK scored an offside goal based on the VAR. Well, you and I were not there...
