Black Sherif made a strong start to 2023 with some significant victories.
The Dream Ville record label, run by hip-hop icon J. Cole, has released a new song with the 21-year-old recording artist as a featured artist.
Bas, an American rapper, and Kel-P, a Nigerian singer, are featured in the song "Blood, Sweat, and Tears," which was released on Wednesday, February 22, 2023.
The song is said to be the soundtrack for the Creed final trailer, according to the official cover art released by Dreams Ville.
Earlier this month, Avance Media released a list of the 100 Most Influential Young Africans for the year 2022, which included Black Sherif.
The year 2022 was an impressive one for "Blacko," as he received his first major award after being adjudged "Entertainment Personality of the Year" organized by Citi TV 2022 Entertainment Achievement Awards (EAAs).
After this, "Blacko" received a nomination for a BET Award and won the Hip Hop Artist of the Year Award at the 2023 Soundcity MVP Awards.
After the release of his debut album, The Villain I Never Was, which had songs such as "Kwaku The Traveller," Black Sherif has seen a surge in his streaming numbers, becoming the first Ghanaian to hit 200 million streams on Boomplay.
