A 30-year-old woman who had surgery to tie her fallopian tube has sparked emotions online.
In a video posted on social media, the woman explained why she underwent the procedure: she didn't want to get pregnant and cope with the physical and psychological damage that would follow.
Although she made the decision on a personal level, some social media users took offense to it.
Some comments under the popular video claim that the lady is a very selfish person who deserves to be reprimanded.
Others have also cautioned her of the loneliness she will experience in old age when she won't have any children or grandchildren to keep her company.
It is obvious that the woman may have thought about all of these before having her fallopian tube tied, therefore we should just let her live her life and freely follow the route she has chosen.
