The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology’s (KNUST) administration has announced the names of applicants who were accepted into various programs for the academic year 2022–2023. Visitors to the KNUST admission portal can verify their admission status by going to https://apps.knust.edu.gh/admissions/check.
The admission status of a prospective student can be located on your preferred admission list on the page (e.g Undergraduate or Postgraduate). Then Select your course of study or Enter your Surname in the Search box and click the search button to access your admission status.
After one has been able to find his/her program of study on the Admission Portal, he/she must proceed to print the Admission Letter.
KNUST Fees Schedule For 2022/2023 Undergraduate Regular Students
After confirming your admission and printing your admission letter, Students are required to pay the relevant fees as specified in the fee schedule into KNUST MAIN FEES COLLECTION ACCOUNT at any of the following banks: GCB BANK/ECOBANK/UBA BANK/CAL BANK/BARCLAYS BANK/GT BANK and GHANA POST.

KNUST Admission SMS Alert
You will be required to choose your Accomodations on the portal when it comes to lodging online (you need to be fast about this part to avoid complications). KNUST Halls of residence
Traditionally, KNUST has six (6) main halls, which include: Independence Hall, Africa Hall, University Hall, Republic Hall, Unity Hall, and Queens Hall.
KNUST Freshers Arrival 2022–2023 academic year
Management of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology has resolved to resume academic work from Saturday, 14 January for first years.
‘Upon arrival, report at your Halls of Residence where you will be required to register and receive keys to your rooms. Staff and student leaders will be available in their numbers to welcome and assist you to go through all the essential formalities. (You are advised to be extremely cautious when dealing with drivers and luggage carriers)
Medical Examination for 2022 Freshers
The University will officially organize a Medical examination for newly admitted students for the academic year.
The exercise is intended to determine diseases that can affect the academic work of the students and guide the medical staff to offer assistance that can enable the students to pursue their studies.
KNUST Biometric and Course Registration
After students are successfully admitted, they will be going through a biometric registration and an online course registration for the semester.

According to US News and World Report's rankings for 2021, the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, has been named the best university in Ghana and the 12th best university in Africa for the second time in a row. Last year, the university was named the 14th-best university in Africa. However, KNUST was regarded as the second-best university in Ghana by Webometrics.
