On the National Democratic Congress, Nelson Ndebah Ndebugre, the 33-year-old son of the late John Akparibo Ndebugre, a former Member of Parliament (MP) for Zebilla, is expected to succeed Cletus Avoka as Member of Parliament (MP) for the Zebilla Constituency (NDC).
Given how Nelson Ndebah Ndebugre has managed to establish a strong rapport with his constituents through his philanthropic work in the fields of water and sanitation, health, and education, the well-educated young activist, businessman, and philanthropist appears to be in a strong position to succeed Cletus Avoka.
Ndebah Ndebugre attended the University of Ghana and the Wisconsin International University College after graduating from the elite Mfantsipim Senior High School. He serves as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ndebah Solutions Limited, an auto importer.
Nelson Ndebah Ndebugre, also known as NNN, is well-liked by the NDC Youth Wing in the Zebilla Constituency, and many of the young people there are eagerly awaiting his election as the district's MP.
Some claim that Cletus Avoka's presence was the only obstacle. But now that Mr. Avoka has vowed not to run for office in 2024, Nelson Ndebah Ndebugre's path to becoming an MP appears to be free and clear.
"Hon. Cletus Avoka has served Zebila's good citizens with diligence for 24 years as a leader. Nelson Ndebah Ndebugre will now be the next member of parliament for the Zebila Constituency thanks to him.
Following Cletus Avoka's declaration that he will not seek reelection in 2024, Popula Tangnaba stated, "Kausaug is proud of you Daddy for your wonderful services to the entire Kusaug kingdom.
"During the time of David and Goliath, Goliath was regarded as the greatest champion and David as a young, diminutive shepherd.
Goliath was the Philistines' and even the majority of kingdoms' champion. Who, though, confronted this champion and defeated him is the straightforward query I have here. How old was the boy, exactly? Just a quick query
What the good people of Bawku West need right now is a son with the heart of David, and that son is no other person than Nelson Ndebah Ndebugre ( NNN). Thank you,” wrote Paul Alhassan, a supporter of NNN argued.
The Zebilla seat will ultimately be a seat to watch in 2024 given that though the Constituency is a stronghold of the NDC, the party has lost the MP position twice – first to John Ndebugre on the ticket of the People’s National Convention (PNC) in 2004 and second, to Frank Fuseini Adongo of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in 2016.
