A young man suspected of stealing the iPhone belonging to American rapper Meek Mill has been detained by the Ghana Police.
At his hideout in Accra, the suspect Nuhu Sule alias Ababaawa was apprehended today, December 30, 2022.
Following Meek Mill's complaint about his missing phone shortly after entering the stage at the Afronation performance (Concert), his arrest was made.
The suspect is in police custody (Detained) where he is assisting in the investigation. However, the iPhone has been returned to Meek Mill.
Ghanaian dancehall artist Shatta Wale has praised his onlookers for bringing back Meek Mill's phone, which is said to have gone misplaced last night.
He had tweeted a humble request for the phone's return, saying that "Meek inspires all of us on the street" and shouldn't be subjected to such a severe letdown.
This happened a few hours after the American rapper revealed he had been pickpocketed on his Instagram Stories.
