Hon. Abdulai Abanga (Binduri MP)
In the Upper East Region's Binduri Constituency, policies are being implemented to assist women in starting new Business and growing current ones.
The village saving and loan associations (VSLAs) in the region will get business capital loans as part of the support systems. Additionally, the women would receive low-interest loans to support their business and be connected to financial institutions.
This was said by Abdulai Abanga, the MP for Binduri, during his appearance on today's, Tuesday, November 15, 2022, Day Break Upper East Show on A1 Radio.
The MP who also serves as the Deputy Minister for Works and Housing claimed the action will improve the women's and their families' livelihood systems.
"We are helping the women's organizations because many of them lack funding. Many of them desire to start businesses but lack the funding. We have started procedures to connect the ladies with financial institutions so they may obtain loans to expand their business because they have these VSLAs, the man stated.
In addition, Mr. Abanga stated that the drilling rig purchased for his constituency would start drilling a large number of boreholes to assist with the region's water difficulties.
